A bit about me

I've always been interested in technology and understanding how things work behind the scenes. Once I started learning more about cybersecurity, I became interested in how software, systems, and people all connect — and how one small weakness can create a much larger risk. What keeps me interested is that there's always something new to learn, whether I'm building an automation, investigating a security problem, or finding a better way to complete a process.

I'm currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science at Arizona State University with a concentration in Software Engineering. I'm expected to graduate in Spring 2027 and have earned Dean's List recognition.

My goal is to build a career in cybersecurity where I can combine security, software development, and automation. I'm especially interested in security engineering, cloud security, and finding ways to make security processes more efficient. Over the next few years, I want to continue gaining hands-on experience, strengthen my technical skills, and grow into a security engineer who can both understand risks and build practical solutions for them.

Outside of technology, I'm a big fan of cars, gaming, and exploring new places. There's a similar problem-solving itch in all three — tuning something to run better, working out the best strategy in a game, or figuring out logistics for the next place I want to see.

  • Assessed Vanta automation coverage across 314 PCI DSS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 evidence controls, evaluating AWS and GitHub integrations and prioritizing controls requiring manual evidence collection.
  • Built a Python testing script to automate ITGC key report validation for DCM audit evidence, achieving a 98.9% classification match rate against expected SQL Server outputs.
  • Collected and analyzed evidence for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks to support internal and external audit readiness.

  • Led migration from a third-party IT provider to an in-house NinjaOne and SentinelOne stack across 290 endpoints, reducing annual costs by $100K.
  • Built PowerShell and shell scripting automation for onboarding/offboarding on Windows and macOS, reducing setup time by 90%.
  • Directed a Google Workspace security initiative: disabled unauthorized external file sharing, ran a retroactive permissions audit, and revoked access for non-affiliated users.
  • Implemented DLP policies and Google Vault to strengthen compliance and long-term protection of sensitive data.

macOS endpoint security compliance dashboard

PROBLEM
Checking whether a fleet of Mac endpoints actually has FileVault, Firewall, Gatekeeper, SIP, and auto-updates configured correctly is normally a manual, one-machine-at-a-time process — which doesn't scale and leaves audit evidence inconsistent.
SOLUTION
Built a Python-based compliance scanner that evaluates each of those controls per device, with risk-scoring and remediation logic that classifies findings and recommends fixes. Visualized fleet-wide compliance posture in a Streamlit dashboard, including failed controls and audit-ready CSV evidence export.
IMPACT
Turns a manual per-device audit checklist into a fleet-wide, exportable compliance view — the kind of evidence generation that normally eats hours during an audit cycle.

Portable practice/performance gear for drummers

PROBLEM
Drummers don't have an easy, cost-efficient way to practice or perform quality percussion sounds outside of a full physical drum kit — most alternatives are bulky, expensive, or need to stay plugged in.
SOLUTION
Designed a lightweight, battery-powered, transportable system for practicing or performing percussion in almost any setting, built with quality percussion sound and future expandability in mind. Built as a team project (with Dayan Birwani and Luis Arroyo) for ASU's FSE 100 Introduction to Engineering.
IMPACT
Presented at ASU's FSE 100 poster sessions as a working proof-of-concept for cost-efficient, portable percussion practice gear.
